Decolonizing Global Health: Trainings, Workshops, and Curriculum
Learner Milestones
Description of decolonized curriculum
To work in the global health and health justice space, our team feels that we must approach this work from a decolonized lens.
In order to do that, it is helpful to have intentional and thoughtful pedagogy that supports learners at different levels to explore their own praxis. We define praxis as the embodiment of equity in all aspects of this work. We recognize that we all come at this work from different worldviews and different levels of experience in reflecting on power dynamics. We specialize in deriving training sessions to meet those varying needs.
We are available to support pedagogy in multiple different ways:
- One-time seminars, workshops or trainings for teams to explore their decolonized (and anti-oppression) approach
- Workshop or seminar series to build safe (and brave) spaces
- Longitudinal curricula for different learner levels
